Jim Wolter has been involved in the financial services industry since 1984 in various capacities as a registered representative and licensed life, annuity and health insurance professional. In 2000 he entered the charitable arena and progressed into the Executive Vice President of Development for a national public 501(c)(3) charitable foundation. In 2009 Jim became President of LegacyTree Foundation.

In his role as President of LegacyTree Foundation, Jim has oversight responsibilities for all facets of the organization. Among them, he manages the charitable planned giving transactions entered into by the organization with the primary objectives of ensuring that a family’s philanthropic, tax and income intentions are honored. He also ensures that LegacyTree Foundation’s long term obligations to families and their heirs are secured and protected in the most prudent manner possible. Additionally, he oversees relationships with the Impact Partners of which LegacyTree Foundation provides funding.

Jim is a popular featured speaker for industry conferences, and conducts numerous, ongoing educational webinars for the financial services industry, introducing them to simple charitable planned giving concepts. He has written several articles for national financial publications is also a popular guest speaker for client seminars.

Jim resides in Franklin, TN with Amy his wife of over 34 years. They are actively involved in their church. He is an avid sports fan...particularly the St. Louis Cardinals and Iowa Hawkeyes.
