Annette Guyer Johnson

05/06/1954 – 10/11/2014

If there was a person who brought a wealth of talent and spirit to LegacyTree Foundation, it was Annette. She served as both Vice President and Secretary and was responsible for many of the relationships and building blocks of success that LegacyTree Foundation enjoys today. In addition to being an officer of LegacyTree Foundation and being committed to our success, she also served for several years on the Board of Directors for Feed America First, a charitable impact partner of LTF.

What many did not know is that Annette was also a unique and gifted artist. She used her talent to develop art that spoke to the heart of the wounded. At the time of her passing, Annette had created over 40 mixed media art pieces, which is now called “Annette’s Hearts Project”. This was her unique way of presenting not only the messy, painful wounds and heart-aches this life can inflict, but to also draw us to the forgiveness, restoration and redemption through the unconditional love and grace God offers the broken hearted.

The passion and intensity that Annette brought to LegacyTree Foundation is greatly missed, but her legacy lives on through our continued success as well as her Heart’s Project and through her son Samuel Johnson (who is very proud of her).
